Our Breeding Philosophy

At Southern Belle Poodles, we specialize in raising healthy, well-socialized Toy Poodles and Standard Poodles with exceptional temperament and structure. We breed for conformation, health, and temperament—always putting our puppies’ well-being first. Every puppy is treated like part of the family from day one.

We believe it’s vital for our puppies to grow alongside their mom and littermates to support healthy development. Most are ready to join their new homes around 9–10 weeks of age, depending on size and individual needs.

We also prioritize genetic health and test all breeding adults through Embark or PawPrint for breed-specific conditions. Our goal is to improve the breed and give every poodle puppy the healthiest start possible.

Early Socialization & Enrichment

From day one, our Toy and Standard Poodle puppies receive daily handling, early neurological stimulation, and age-appropriate enrichment.

We introduce:

• Grooming desensitization (starting around 6 weeks)
• Sound stimulation & household noise
• Potty pan training (around 4 wee
• Toys, textures, touch desensitization, and supervised time with children

Because puppies aren’t fully vaccinated until around  16 weeks, we don’t bring them into public spaces—but rest assured, they’re well-prepared for family life by the time they leave us.

What Comes With Your Puppy

Each Southern Belle Toy or Standard Poodle puppy goes home with:

• A toy with Mom’s scent
• Starter food bag
• Vet records
• AKC registration papers
• 1-year health guarantee

Puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, and have tails docked (if applicable).

Bringing Your Puppy Home

We offer safe and convenient options for getting your puppy home, whether you’re local or anywhere in the country:

• Pick-up in Poplarville, Mississippi
• Meet at Gulfport–Biloxi or New Orleans International Airport
• Pet nanny services to your nearest airport
• Ground transport (recommendations available)
